How to Ask Yes/No Tarot Questions Properly

How to ask binary questions in tarot so a single card gives a clean yes or no — wording, timing and follow-ups.

The question shape

A yes/no tarot question must be one decision in one timeframe: 'Should I accept the Thursday offer?' works; 'Is my relationship good?' is too broad. Add the deadline if the answer is time-sensitive.

The method

Hold the question in one sentence, shuffle, cut, draw ONE card. Upright = yes-leaning, reversed = no-leaning, and for Pages or the Moon treat it as 'not yet — gather information'.

When the answer confuses

A confusing card usually means your question smuggled in two questions. Rewrite it, wait a few hours, pull again. Never pull three times shopping for a yes — that trains anxiety, not insight.
