How Much Does a Tarot Reading Cost? 2026 Guide
How much a tarot reading costs in 2026 — free apps, live readers, per-minute platforms — and where MysticTarot's pricing sits.
The 2026 price landscape
Apps and web tools: free tier plus $1–$10 per detailed reading. Live in-person readers: $30–$150+ per session in metros. Online platforms: $0.50–$5 per minute. Learning material: a one-time $10–$30 book. MysticTarot: 3 free readings daily, then $1 per full reading, or $50 for 100 credits ($0.50 each).
What you're paying for
Live sessions buy conversation and personalization; apps repay depth and convenience. Both are legitimate when priced honestly. Red flags: escalating packages, fear-based upsells, and 'the cards say pay more' — no reading needs a purchase to be complete.
Value at each price point
A $100 live session is one hour with one person's passing insight. A $50 credit pack here buys 100 readings you can run at 2am, compare across days, and repeat for friends. Different products — choose for the actual need, not for mystique.
Put it to the test
Reading this is nice; pulling the cards is nicer. 3 free readings here every day.
